LIME PEAR SALAD | |
1 lb. 13 oz. can pears 3 oz. pkg. lime Jello 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened 2 oz. env. whipped topping mix 1/2 c. chopped walnuts Thoroughly drain pears and dice. Measure 1 1/3 cups pear juice. Bring juice to boiling point; pour over gelatin, stirring until gelatin is dissolved. Slowly add gelatin to cream cheese. Beat at low speed of electric mixer until thoroughly blended. Blend in pears. Refrigerate just until cool but not set. Whip topping mix according to package directions. Fold topping mix and walnuts into gelatin. Pour into mold, refrigerate until firm. |
