1 c. sugar 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. butter 1 c. oil 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cream of tartar 1 c. oatmeal 1 c. Rice Krispies cereal 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1 egg 3 1/2 c. flour Blend sugars, butter, oil and egg. Beat well so that oil doesn't separate. Add oatmeal, flour, cereal and nuts. Refrigerate dough until well chilled. Roll into balls and flatten with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen. |
