2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
4 tbsp. butter
Dash of salt
1 egg, beaten into 1 c. milk

Mix. Pour into 9x13 inch pan. Peel 4 or 5 apples (prefer red or yellow Delicious). Slice apples and put in rows on top of cake batter.

Mix together and crumble on top of apples:

2/3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter

Bake in 325 degree oven for 30-40 minutes or until done.
