HAM AND EGG CASSEROLE 
6 slices cheese bread, French bread or reg. bread
Butter
Garlic salt
1 basket fresh mushrooms or 1 lg. can drained mushrooms
1 med. onion, chopped
1 green pepper, diced
1 c. cubed ham
1 c. sharp cheese, grated, and little extra for topping
2 tbsp. flour
4 eggs
1 c. milk

Butter bread and apply garlic salt. Place buttered bread, cut diagonally, in a large 3 quart baking dish. Saute onions, mushrooms and green pepper. Add ham. Mix grated cheese with the 2 tablespoons flour and add to the above mixture. Spread the mixture over bread. Beat 4 eggs and the milk together.

Pour egg and milk mixture over the bread, onions, mushroom and green pepper. Top with extra cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. This can be made a day ahead. Serves 6-8.
