2 eggs
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. melted shortening
1/3 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
Vegetable oil

Beat eggs until fluffy; add sugar, salt, shortening and milk. Mix flour with other ingredients. Drop by tablespoons into hot vegetable oil until browned. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
