MOTHER'S STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 qt. strawberries, halved
Pie shell
3 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. tapioca
Whipped cream or Cool Whip

Line pie plate with pie shell and bake. When shell is cool, spread softened 3 ounces of Philadelphia cream cheese over shell. Pour 1/2 quart of strawberries over cream cheese. Smash the remaining strawberries and mix with 1/2 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons tapioca. Cook this mixture until thick. Pour hot strawberry mixture over strawberries in pie shell. Cool pie in refrigerator. Top with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
