BEER MEATBALLS 
1 1/2-2 lb. ground beef
1 env. (1.3 oz.) onion soup mix
1 sm. bottle (14 oz.) catsup
1 bottle beer (12 oz.)

Mix ground beef and soup; mix thoroughly. Shape into balls, 1 1/2 inches in diameter (smaller if meatballs are to be used as appetizer). Freeze until approximately 1 hour before serving.

To cook, mix beer and catsup in large saucepan and bring to a boil. Add meatballs and simmer until sauce thickens slightly. Serve over rice or alone as an appetizer.
