BEER ROAST 
2 tbsp. oil
Flour
Round roast
1 pkg. onion soup mix
12 oz. can beer
Pepper to taste
Garlic powder to taste
1 can mushrooms (opt.)

Trim fat from roast. Flour the roast and sear over high heat in a little oil on both sides. Remove from heat and sprinkle onion soup mix over top. Also add pepper and garlic powder. May add can of mushrooms. Pour the can of beer over roast. Cover and simmer for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Meat will easily fall apart. Serve over noodles, rice or potatoes.
