BLUE RIBBON BEAN SOUP 
3 bags beans (any variety)
2 qt. water
1 onion, chopped
1 c. tomatoes
1 red or green pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic
Salt and pepper to taste

Soak beans in a container covered with water for 12 hours. Then put beans and all other ingredients in pot to simmer 30 to 40 minutes and serve.
