LOUISIANA CASSEROLE 
1 lg. cabbage, sliced thin
3 med. white potatoes, sliced thin
2 med. onions and green onions, sliced thin
2 lbs. sausage (your favorite kind)
1 lg. pot with top

Boil sausage in 2 cups of water. Once cooked, remove sausage (do not throw away juice); slice sausage thin.

FIRST LAYER: Cabbage, potatoes, onions and sausage. Add salt and pepper to taste.

SECOND LAYER: Same as first layer.

Keep layering until ingredients are all gone. Pour juice that you saved above over ingredients. Cook over medium heat. Takes approximately 20 minutes or until potatoes are done.
