The all-time favorite of the youngsters at Rancho de los Caballeros.

1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 lb. butter
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. oatmeal
1 c. chocolate chips, miniatures

Beat sugars and butter in electric mixer. Add eggs and rest of ingredients. The easiest way to drop cookies is with a very small ice cream scoop, always uniform size, too! Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. 4 dozen or more cookies.
