CRISPY COWBOY CRITTER COOKIES 
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar (packed)
1 1/2 c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. crushed corn flakes or crisp rice cereal (I use Kenmai)
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream together sugars and butter; add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Mix in dry ingredients and cereal. Add nuts. Refrigerate overnight. Drop by teaspoonfuls on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes about 7 dozen.
