TOMATOED MACARONI 
1 can (16 oz.) tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. tomato paste
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. oregano
2 c. uncooked macaroni
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Heat tomatoes, butter, 1 teaspoon salt and oregano to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally. While tomato sauce cooks, heat 6 cups water and the salt to boiling. Add macaroni; heat to boiling. Boil uncovered, stirring occasionally, 7 to 10 minutes or until tender; drain. Turn macaroni into serving dish; pour sauce on macaroni. Stir. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired. 6 servings.
