PUMPKIN PIE CAKE 
1 (29 oz.) can pumpkin
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 c. melted butter
1 c. chopped nuts
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. ginger

Beat all ingredients except the cake mix. Put in ungreased 9x13 inch cake pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over the mixture. Sprinkle nuts and pour melted butter over all. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour, no longer. Top with Cool Whip if desired.
