PIGS IN THE BLANKET 
Cooked rice, cooled
1 head of cabbage, core taken out
1/4 lb. bacon, browned & diced
Onion
Ground beef
Tomato soup or sauce
Sauerkraut (optional)

Steam cabbage at low temperature. Drain. Saute onion and ground beef. Add rice, bacon and onion. Lay cabbage leaf in hand. Add scoop of hamburg mixture and roll up. Fasten with toothpick if necessary.

HUNGARIAN STYLE:

1. Layer of sauerkraut plus water from cabbage.

2. Layer of pigs.

3. Layer of sauerkraut.

4. Pour tomato sauce over all.

Bake at 325 degrees for 3 hours.
