BLACK BEAN SLOPPY JOE'S | |
1/2 env. taco seasoning mix 1 (15 oz.) can black beans, rinsed and drained 1 (10 oz.) can Rotel diced tomatoes w/ green chilies 1/2 jar marinara sauce (your favorite) sliced wheat bread SUGGESTED SEASONINGS: salt and pepper onion powder garlic powder oregano Rinse and drain black beans, pour into pot. Add half packet of taco seasoning mix and other spices/seasonings you desire. Add can of diced tomatoes and half jar of marinara sauce. Cover pot and bring to a boil at medium to high heat. Turn heat to low, put cover onto pot. Let pot sit on low heat for a few minutes. To serve, pour/spoon sloppy joe sauce onto wheat bread slice, top with another slice. Then top with another thin layer of sloppy joe sauce. Note: Refrigerate any leftovers within two hours after the meal. Submitted by: kpcswd |
