HAM CASSEROLE WITH CHEESE
BISCUITS
 
1 green pepper
1 onion
3 tbsp. shortening
6 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
1 can creamed chicken soup
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 c. ground ham
1 can biscuits
1/2 lb. aged cheese

Brown pepper and onion in shortening. Stir in flour, add milk gradually. Add soup, lemon juice and ham. Pour in casserole. Roll biscuits thin and place on top of casserole. Cook at 450 degrees until biscuits look brown. Serves 8 to 10.
