SAUTEED APPLES 
3 tbsp. butter
3 tart cooking apples
1/3 c. honey
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg

Peel, core and thickly slice apples. In medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter until foaming. Add apples, cook 2 minutes, tossing occasionally. Add honey and sprinkle spices over apples. Toss gently to combine. Cook until apples are tender, about 3 minutes. Best served hot over ice cream. Freezes well.
