GOODBYE TURKEY CASSEROLE 
5 tbsp. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. onion salt
1/4 c. melted butter
2 1/2 c. milk
1 1/3 c. Minute Rice
1 1/2 c. turkey broth (can use bouillon cubes)
1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 1/2 c. cooked asparagus (can omit)
2 c. or 6 slices turkey
2 tbsp. slivered almonds

Stir flour and half of salt and onion salt into the butter and stir in milk over heat. (For the white sauce); cook until thickened. Pour rice (uncooked) into baking dish (13 x 9 inch). Combine broth and remaining salt and pour over rice. Sprinkle half the cheese over rice, then the asparagus over that and then the turkey. Pour white sauce over all and sprinkle with remaining cheese and top with almonds. Bake at 375 degrees about 20 minutes.
