PACIFIC SEAFOOD - ALMOND SPREAD 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 1/2 c. ground almonds
1 (8 oz.) can crab or shrimp (or use 8 oz. fresh)
1/2 c. mayonnaise
4 tbsp. white wine or sherry
1 clove garlic, pressed
2 tsp. finely chopped onion
Salt and pepper to taste

Soften cream cheese until it is easy to stir. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate for several hours to allow flavors to blend. Spread on sliced baguettes or crackers. May also be served warm as a dip. Serves 12.
