1 1/2 HOURS SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
2 c. tomato puree, may need another 1/2 c.
1/2 c. water, or more
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. garlic salt
1/4 c. onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, chopped
1/4 c. celery, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. parsley
1 tsp. oregano
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 medium can mushrooms
1 1/2 lb. hamburger, cooked and drained

Sauté onion, garlic, and celery slowly in 1 tablespoon oil for 5 minutes. Add tomato puree and paste, stir. Add remaining ingredients, except hamburger, soda, and mushrooms. Simmer covered in pan for 1 hour. Add hamburger, soda, and mushrooms. Stir together and serve.
