CHEESE POTATOES IN FOIL 
3 lg. potatoes, peeled
Salt & pepper to taste
4-5 slices bacon, cooked until crisp
1 med. onion, sliced
8 oz. (2 c.) cubed American cheese
1/2 c. butter

Slice potatoes onto a large piece of heavy aluminum foil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Crumble bacon over all, then lay onion slices and cheese on top. Slice the butter into pots and lay on top. While on the foil, mix gently.

Bring edges of foil up leaving space for steam expansion. Seal well with a double fold. Place package in 350 degree oven or on barbecue grill. Bake in oven about 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender. On barbecue grill, turn occasionally and cook about 1 hour or if grill is hooded, cook about 45 minutes. Yield: 4-6 servings.
