OLD FASHION FRIED PIES 
1 lg. can evaporated cream
1/2 c. sugar
Lard - size of egg
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
5 c. plain flour

Mix thoroughly. Set overnight in refrigerator. Roll out on floured board and cut into squares. Add 2 tablespoons of fruit to each square and fold over. Deep fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Makes about 20 pies.
