OLD FASHIONED BUTTERMILK PIE 
9 inch unbaked pie crust
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 rounded tbsp. flour
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
Dash of nutmeg

Have butter soft; add sugar. Cream together well. Add flour and eggs; beat well. Stir in buttermilk, vanilla and nutmeg. Pour in pie crust. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 350 degrees F. Place on wire rack to cool completely before serving.
