CAKE COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 can Carnation evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

BURNT BUTTER GLAZE:

2 tbsp. butter
2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. evaporated milk

Mix shortening, sugar and eggs. Stir in milk and add vanilla. Add flour, soda and salt. Chill for 1 hour before baking. Drop with teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown. While warm frost with glaze. In saucepan heat butter until golden brown. Add powdered sugar and evaporated milk and beat until smooth.
