BRAN MUFFINS 
1 1/4 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. Kellogg's All Bran
1 1/4 c. milk
1 egg

Sift together flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Set aside. In large mixing bowl combine All Bran cereal and milk. Let stand until cereal softens then add oil and egg; mix well. Add flour mixture, stirring until combined. Pour batter evenly into 12 lightly greased muffin cups. Bake in 400 degree oven about 20 minutes or until golden brown. For more tasty muffins you may add any or all: 1 banana, 1 cup nuts, 1 cup raisins, 1 cup fresh apples diced small or 1 cup applesauce.
