TING-A-LING 
1 (6 to 8 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (6 to 8 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
1 (4 to 5 oz.) can chow mein noodles
1 c. Spanish peanuts, salted

In large saucepan, melt chips over low heat, stirring constantly.* Remove from heat and quickly stir in noodles and peanuts, making sure all ingredients are coated evenly. Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper. Chill until firm.

Yield: 3 1/2 dozen.

Substitutions:

Peanut butter chips for butterscotch

Pretzels for noodles

Any kind of nuts

Or add miniature marshmallows

*Note: Chips may be melted in large microwave-safe bowl. Heat on HIGH 2 minutes; stir, then heat and check at 1 minute intervals until chips are completely soft. Stir in noodles and peanuts and continue as directed.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
