1 c. and 2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. softened butter
6 tbsp. granulated sugar
6 tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. water
1 egg
1 (6 oz.) pkg. M & M
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift flour, baking soda, salt, set aside. Combine and beat until creamy butter, both sugars, vanilla and water. Beat in egg. Add flour mixture; mix well. Stir in M & M and nuts. Drop by well rounded 1/2 teaspoon on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees 10 to 12 minutes. Bigger cookies equals chewy. Smaller equals crunchy.
