BEER BATTER BREAD 
3 c. plus 2 tbsp. self-rising flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 (12 oz.) can lite beer
1/2 c. raisins (optional)
2 tbsp. molasses

Blend flour and sugar in large bowl. Add the beer gradually and blend into the flour mix. Add raisins and drizzle the molasses into batter with fork. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes. Grease loaf pan or 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Place dough in and bake about 50 minutes in 350 degree oven. Makes delicious toast.
