PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 egg
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix sugars, peanut butter, butter and egg in medium bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours, but no longer than 24 hours.

Heat oven to 375°F. Shape dough into 1 1/4-inch balls. Place about 3-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork dipped in sugar.

Bake 9 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly. Remove from cookie sheet.
