4 c. sugar
2 sticks real butter
1/2 c. light syrup
1 c. cream
1/2 c. cocoa
Pinch of salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix all at once; cook until soft ball forms in cold water. Beat; pour in buttered pan. Cut when cool.
