STRAWBERRY PIE | |
1 c. sugar 1 c. water 2 tbsp. cornstarch 2 tbsp. white Karo syrup 1/2 pkg. strawberry Jello 1 1/2 pt. fresh strawberries 1 baked pie shell, any kind Few drops red food coloring Cook sugar, cornstarch, water and white Karo syrup for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add Jello. Cool. Add coloring if wished. Put strawberries in pie shell and pour the Jello mixture over the berries. Refrigerate for about 3 hours. Serve with whipped topping. You may substitute raspberries with raspberry Jello or fresh peaches with peach Jello. All are good. |
