EASY MICROWAVE FROSTING 
1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
5 tbsp. milk
1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts (opt.)

Melt butter in glass bowl, at least 2 quart size, in microwave. Add cocoa, milk and powdered sugar. Mix well. Microwave on High for 1 minute. Stir well. Microwave on High until mixture comes to a boil, usually 2 to 3 minutes. Stir, add vanilla and nuts if desired. Pour over hot cake.

This frosting can be changed by using any flavor you desire. Leave out cocoa and vanilla and use lemon, brandy or rum extract, almond, butter pecan, vanilla, etc.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
