SPONGE BARS 
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 c. sugar
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. hot water
4 egg whites, beaten

FROSTING:

1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
Salted peanuts, chopped

Mix ingredients for bars in order given. Pour 1/2 cup hot water over and mix. Fold in 4 egg whites. Pour into greased and floured 9x13-inch pan or jelly roll pan. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Frost and sprinkle with peanuts.
