MISS EVELYN'S BROCCOLI RICE
CASSEROLE
 
1/2 stick butter
1 stem celery, chopped
1 can cream of chicken soup
Dash of Tabasco (opt.)
1 c. cooked rice
1 med. onion, chopped
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
1 sm. jar jalapeno Cheese Whiz

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Saute butter, onions and celery in skillet. Add broccoli, soup and Cheese Whiz. Mix well. Add rice, mix well and remove from heat. Season to taste with Tabasco (may not need any). Bake in ovenproof dish at 350 degrees uncovered for 30 minutes.
