CHEESE STRAWS (COOKIE PRESS) 
1 lb. extra sharp cheese, grated
1 stick butter
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 c. flour

Blend cheese and butter in food processor. Sift flour, salt, cayenne pepper. Add to cheese mixture gradually. Process until very soft. Use star or bar pattern of cookie press.

Turn out on cookie sheet. Cut in desired lengths. Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown in 400 degree oven. Remove immediately to cake rack. Cool completely before storing. Can freeze.
