BRAN MUFFINS 
2 1/2 c. white sugar
2 c. Kelloggs All Bran
8 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. molasses
1 qt. buttermilk
51/2 c. all purpose flour
3 c. Quaker natural bran
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
2 c. raisins, steamed
4 eggs

Mix buttermilk and bran to soak and then add the rest of the ingredients, egg to be added at end of rest of ingredients. You will need a very large mixing bowl or roast pan to mix it in.

Bake in 375 degree oven for approximately 25 minutes for large muffins. Makes 5 to 5 1/2 dozen depending on size.

Mixture may be kept in covered bowl in refrigerator and just stir once and bake as required.
