CHINESE PEPPER STEAK 
4 green peppers
1/4 c. onions
1 c. celery
2 tbsp. soy sauce
Rice or noodles
1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in strips
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. beef bouillon
1 c. sliced carrots

Brown steak in 4 tablespoons oil; set aside. Brown vegetables (peppers, onions, carrots and celery) in meat juice. When brown, add meat to vegetables. Add consomme; cover, reduce heat and simmer for 40-50 minutes. Mix 1/4 cup water, soy sauce, and cornstarch; add to vegetables and meat. Remove from heat when thick. Serve over rice or noodles.
