PINEAPPLE SALAD 
2 sm. pkgs. strawberry jello
1/2 c. sugar (I use about 2 tsp.)
2 c. boiling water
2 c. crushed pineapple (juice and all)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
1 lg. can evaporated milk
1 c. nuts

Mix first 3 ingredients. Add crushed pineapple. Chill until nearly stiff. Chill milk in large mixing bowl until partially frozen at edge. Beat at high speed until thick.

Add sugar and vanilla as if using for topping. Beat in soft cream cheese, then beat in jello mix. Sprinkle nuts on top.
