CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
Low Sodium. Makes 3 dozen cookies.

2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
3 tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. Puritan oil
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease baking sheets well.

2. Combine flour, soda and salt. Set aside.

3. Combine egg, water and vanilla. Set aside.

4. Blend brown sugar and Puritan Oil in large bowl at low speed of electric mixer. Add egg mixture. Beat until smooth. Add flour mixture in three parts at lowest speed. Scrape bowl well after each addition. Stir in chocolate chips.

5. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 7 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets 1 minute. Remove to cooling rack to cool completely.
