STRING BEAN PATTIES 
2 pkgs. frozen French style string beans
3 eggs
1/2 to 3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. grated cheese
1 tsp. garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Safflower or vegetable oil, enough to fry patties

Cook string beans according to package directions. Drain well and cut up beans. Place in bowl. Add eggs. Then add flour gradually until mixture is pasty (not thick). Add garlic powder, cheese, salt and pepper. Mix well.

Heat oil in frying pan. Place mixture by tablespoonfuls in oil. Flatten a bit with fork. Turn when browned lightly and cook other side.
