BEEF PAPRIKASH | |
4 tbsp. butter 1 c. finely chopped onions 1 clove garlic, minced 2 lbs. boneless beef, cut into 1-inch cubes 1 tbsp. paprika 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. water 2 tbsp. flour 1 c. dairy sour cream Melt butter; add onions and garlic. Saute until onions are transparent. Set aside. Brown beef in drippings. Return onions and garlic to pan; add paprika, salt and water. Cover and simmer until tender, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours, adding a little water from time to time as necessary. Combine flour with sour cream; stir into meat mixture and cook until meat sauce is smooth and thickened. |
