TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. water
2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk

Bring to boil water, cocoa, butter. Boil 1 minute. Pour over the flour and sugar. Stir and then add buttermilk - eggs, soda, and vanilla. Bake in 10 x 14 inch pan at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes.

ICING:

4 tbsp. cocoa
4 tbsp. milk
1 stick butter
1 lb. confectioners sugar
1 c. chopped pecans

Boil milk, butter, and cocoa 1 minute. Beat in sugar until smooth; add nuts. Spread over cake when taken from oven while hot.
