STRAWBERRY PUFF | |
2 tbsp. shortening 1 egg 1/4 c. milk 1 c. flour 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt Blend all ingredients. Beat 2 minutes. Wash and stem berries and put in 8-inch square glass pan. Spoon mixture over berries. Bake at 375°F for 35 to 40 minutes. Double recipe for 9 x 13 pan. (Substitute raspberries, blueberries, crushed pineapple or apples can be used.) |
