BANANA CAKE 
1/4 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
2 lg. or 3 sm. bananas, mashed
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Powdered sugar

Beat butter, add sugar and beat until fluffy; add eggs; beat well. Mix all dry ingredients. Add alternately with sour cream to butter mixture. Fold in bananas, nuts and vanilla. Pour batter in a greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Sprinkle top with powdered sugar when just warm.
