1/2 c. soft butter
1 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
2 c. sifted cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. raisins, chopped
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter; add sugar and eggs, beat until light. Add sifted dry ingredients, raisins, and nuts; mix well. Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees about 10 minutes. Store in airtight container.
