BANANA SPLIT SALAD 
2 c. crushed graham crackers
6 tbsp. butter
1/4 lb. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 c. powdered sugar
2 bananas
1 c. crushed drained pineapple
1 large container Cool Whip.
crushed nuts
maraschino cherries (optional)

Mix the graham crackers and 6 tablespoons melted butter into pan.

Beat the 1/4 pound butter, vanilla, egg and powdered sugar until thick. Spoon over graham crackers in piles; spread to cover. Cut the bananas and place on top of filling so that slices touch. Put the crushed pineapple over bananas. Smear the Cool Whip. Sprinkle with crushed nuts.
