COUNTRY TOMATO JAM | |
4 1/2 lbs. tomatoes, peeled 4 1/2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. broken cinnamon 1 1/2 c. vinegar 1/2 tsp. allspice 1 tsp. cloves Scald, peel and quarter tomatoes. Put in granite pan to cook, and add sugar, vinegar, and spices. Simmer slowly until thickened, then put in hot sterilized jars and seal. |
