SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN | |
2 cut up chickens (fryers) 1/2 c. crushed pineapple (including juice) 1 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. catsup 1/4 c. vinegar 2 green pepper, chopped 3 single stalks celery, chopped 1 med. onion, chopped Skin the chicken. Roll in flour and brown chicken. Put in casserole. Cook onion, celery and green pepper until tender. Add pineapple, catsup, sugar and vinegar. Pour mixture over chicken. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees until tender (about 1 1/2 hours). |
