ROSY RAISIN NUT COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 3/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. catsup
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts

Cream butter until consistency of mayonnaise. Beat in sugars gradually. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with catsup. Stir in raisins and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on greased baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, or when edges are brown. Remove from pan and spread with orange glaze while hot. Yield: 5 dozen.

ORANGE GLAZE:

1 1/2 c. sifted XXX sugar
2 tbsp. orange juice

Combine and beat until smooth. Add more juice to thin if necessary.
